Wednesday snow map

A disturbance will move through the region Wednesday morning with a swath of light precipitation with temperatures around 30 in the north and mid 30’s south Wednesday morning the precipitation will likely fall as snow for many.  Overall little qpf is expected, top amounts around .1 and with a warm ground I’m going 5:1 ratios as well for any snow. Highs should rebound into the upper 30’s north to mid 40’s south. Any snow may lead to minor slick spots for the Wednesday rush Medium public impact in zone B

Low public impact in zone A

B- up to 1/2 inch on grass Wednesday morning with temps near 32 in the morning hours.

A-some coatings on grass Wednesday morning with temps near 32 in the morning hours.

mix- morning temps in the mid 30’s no snow accumulation with a mix of light rain and snow.

Went just under the highest snow accumulations painted by the 12z ECMWF did go as gung-ho as the 00z EC. Saw 18z nam is picking up on some slightly higher qpf in the northeast as well. This forecast is also in line with the CMC.

– the 10-12th still doesn’t look likely. However I’m not as certain today on a quick return to blowtorch conditions after the the 12th. Perhaps even enough low level cold air hangs out till mid week to make the next system worth watching as well. We shall see.
