thoughts on current frontal system

Once again the stage has been set for another slow moving frontal system focused over the Ohio river valley. this may dump an additional 1-2 inches of rain the next few days. particularly for western and northern regions of our area. the main factor is the slow movement of these fronts has been a ridge of high pressure located off the east coast.

1. for monday periods of rain and thunder will be focused along the front for northern and western regions with lesser amounts further southeast. temperatures will be steady near 60.

2. We get a shot of chilly air for Tuesday as the front pushed moves east this continued the likelihood for showers with highs only in the 50’s and that may be at midnight. lows Tuesday night should be in the mid to upper 30’s maybe this ends as a flake for the highest elevations out east. don’t think it clears out enough for frost.

3. We clear out for Wednesday and Thursday with highs in the 60’s to low 70’s. and lows in the 40’s and 50’s.
