squall line details

– All of the parameters are in place for another high impact squall line event overnight. CIN/CAP should limit any development ahead of the line. With ample shear and instability in place with the warm and moist set-up this squall line will maintain intensity overnight as the cold front approaches. Along the squall line with thunderstorms I’m expecting isolated tornadoes, hail and high winds with gusts in excess of 70 mph. Gusty winds close to or over severe limits should be widespread along the line leading to numerous warnings. The line should reach I-65 around midnight ct and I-75 around 2:30 am et. Moving from northwest to southeast across the region. I’ll try to update with watches and warnings as they come out along with my thoughts on individual storms.
