squall line wrap-up

by

several tornado and wind damage came in over the region as this was a high impact event for many. Check your local nws offices in the links section for more.

Over the next few days we have another warm front moving through. One week low pressure may move along the front friday for a chance of showers and storms north. Saturday with this boundary to our north I’m thinking a cluster of storms could organize and dive southeast into northern KY during the day which could be strong to severe with some shear and instability present. Sunday night or Monday the region will be impacted by another squall line along a cold front, parameters look similar to the last event. However timing differences have me less tha excited for severe weather at this time.  Overall lows should into the 50’s with highs from the 70’s into the 80’s into the weekend.
