e-mail your pics of hail or rainbows to the address above

this is your chance to be featured on the site please e-mail your pics mitchell.gaines18@gmail.com of this severe event. The lower surface dewpoint values along the steep lapse rates helped produce large hail in many regions today. Also several rainbows were seen as well. As for Bowling Green an impressive storm went just south of us it was interesting to watch the hail core (whiter sky)  move across our view to the south.

As for the next days lows in the 30’s with highs in the 40’s and 50’s will be the rule with a wintertime that would have really excited 10 months from now. It’s late march so this means chilly overrunning rains with a watch for other precip types. Of note is the GFS continuing to hint for frz rain this weekend across far northern KY in the morning and the ECMWF bringing a period of snow through the region Monday night.
