snow this weekend?

Apr 1 is still 2 weeks away. Looking at the latest models old man winter doesn’t want to take a hint his time is up. Of interest is a period of snow the 00z euro has over the region for late Saturday night into Sunday. With temps dipping into the 20’s regionwide on this run with the precip means unfortunately this bears watching also going along with ice around CVG Saturday am on the GFS. Either way overunning precip should make for a nasty weekend which I suspect at this time will be a cold rain.

As for Wednesday I’ll update later today after the 12z runs the main challenge will be exactly where the storms will fire as i could see the LOU and BWG missing out b/c storm development is east of those regions. I saw a little more talk that was suggesting more support for rotation with these storms one of the indicies used for rotation looks good, however several others like the one I showed yesterday are still week. Still thinking a squall line with emphasis on northeast KY for impact.
