quick hitter points

more detailed update up really late tonight.

– light snow showers tonight that could accumulate up to an inch with lows in t he 20’s more minor slick spots.

– cloudy monday with drizzle and fog with highs from the mid 30’s north to low 40’s south any light snow changes to drizzle.

– will await 00z runs before making a first call I see no reason to change my thinking with some models west and other east this means the best chance for a few inches of snow runs from bwg to ash and southeast with the highest totals for southeast KY Tue-Wed.

– I agree with the euro on another winter storm threat by the middle of next week.

– the first half of feb looks cold  we may actually see a day warmer than average on friday or saturday before the AO tanks once again.

Mitch, Chris Bailey just tweeted this ” NAM heading in the right direction in the upper levels. The surface is a mess. Looks like some serious feedback issues.” What exactly does he mean? Thanks.
