storm update: times for 00z models

by

look for comments about the 00z runs below. the time when the model outputs for the storm become known to me are

NAM- 9:40 pm

GFS-11:15 pm

CMC- 12:30 am

NOGAPS, UKMET – 1 am

JMA- no 00z run

ECMWF- 2:45 am  can give a rough idea by 2 AM

bed time will likely approach before the end of the 00z guidance. should be able to comment on everything but the details of the euro.

as for Sunday night here is an UPDATED CALL

– biggest change to is to make the 1 region 0-1. dry air in the upper levels could win out.

this system will mainly impact western Kentucky for more on the impacts to the western portion of the state go to

beau covers western Kentucky and done a forecast for this system which I’m in agreement with.

eventhough we have this chance for light snow my focus will be on Tue-Wed. Again check the comments below as i post thoughts on model runs as they come in

THINK WEST OR EVERYTHING ELSE SHIFT TO JMA!!!

of course if you don’t like snow disregard the above comment.

00z cmc a blend of nam and gfs brings snow into southern and eastern ky. lexington is northwest edge.
