WRF’s way to go

A reminder of the christmas event where banding  produced heavier amounts of snow than expected.  The detail of the WRF’s both and NCEP and the local STN WRF at WKU appear to do a very good job catching the details of the mesoscale banding, dry slotting and other smaller scale details of the system will evolve.  the banding does have me thinking the bluegrass particularly northwest of lex totals to be raised slightly back to 1-4. I can see where most of southern and eastern Kentucky southeast of Jackson and in the Bowling Green see little out of this.
