The movie of the year!!!
actually we should see a few more week disturbancesmove through into tuesday which leave coatings and make things slick for a time. In addtion upslope snows have been impressive out east with another inch or even three still possibile. I’m going to be making adjustments to the temperatures in the 14 day off to the side.
for the weekend We should see track into the region which brings a rain to accumlating snow then another round of upslope snows . The cold and wind sunday and Monday should be extreme.
Tommorow I will compare Dec 2000 to 2010. By the way Dec 2000 is the months of all months in terms of cold and snow.

It seems given past history, once a model goes “lake cutter” there’s no going back, but I guess we’ll see with this system. So many major December storms have ended up this way, especially last year.
