Low level cold hanging in

you may have noticed today that the low level cold air discussed the other day has been slow to lift out particularly in the bluegrass where temps have been in the 30’s all day. Also The region of lift along the warm front was expected to mainly stay north and west of the region this has not been the case and this lift has produced an overrunning band of rain and sleet today. With the passage of the warm front the winds switch out of the south and we see rising temperatures overnight with southerly winds.  I’ll update later tonight on turkey day.
