very active week continues

by

1. today’s threat for severe weather and flooding rains is less than the past few days across the region as the ridge of high pressure over the midwest buckles. Once again thunderstorm complexes will track on the northern edge of the ridge today this will  be from the upper midwest then due south into the lower Ohio valley. As in previous days any thunderstorm cluster can produce damaging winds and flooding rains from slow-moving storms.  highs will be in the mid to upper 80’s with lows near 70.

2. The ridge builds in for Friday and Saturday with highs in the low to mid 90’s, went a little cooler to account for a moist soil. With dewpoints near 70 heat index values should be around 100 both days. Allow extra caution if outside both days.
