New ECMWF data available to the Public!!!!

by

I have complained many times in the past of the lack of data publically available with this model, most of it is very limited and very expensive to get a hold of.  This in my view is the best of the medium range forecast models. Accuweather through there pro site now offers euro data at several heights including the surface. This is the first site I’ve seen that has a representation of the euro model output at the surface, including temperature, precipitation etc. This new data will serve to aid in my forecasting and model discussions on this site.

1. We have one more hot sunny day Thursday with highs in the low to mid 90’s again.

2. thunderstorms are likely Friday with a week front which will break down the ridge lows should be in the 60’s with highs in the mid 80’s thanks to the cloud cover.

3. Behind the front it will be fair and slightly cooler with lows in the mid to upper 60’s and highs in the upper 80’s this weekend.

4. watching the tropics off the Texas coast as well, this will have no impact on our region.
