some strong to severe storms tonight

by

– early this evening scattered storms should fire over west ky

– form into a squall line by the time they reach the bluegrass and move east across the state, once the line clears your area the severe threat is over.

– with this squall line set-up the main threat is for damaging winds

– hail and isolated tornadoes are the secondary threats

– I have stormtopper duty once again here in Bowling green tonight so my live coverage will not begin till the threat has cleared the Bowling Green area

– I’ll pass along any watches or warnings in the comments section

– hvy rain is not a concern
