Widespread frost tonight

with calm winds dewpoints are a good indicator for where lows will be tonight as most of the region is under a frost or freeze advisory

from the fine folks at the mesonet.

here’s the last update

2. Sunny skies return for Friday and Weekend with high pressure in place. The end result will be mostly sunny with increasing southerly flow as the high moves east. with clear skies and a dryer airmass in place overnight lows can dip down into the 30’s and 40’s. Highs should recover into the 60’s and perhaps 70’s by the end of the weekend.

3. Taking a quick glance at the latest ENSO report is that any so-called la-nina may not be strong as earlier indicated. My summer outlook  may still be a while before being released here.
