gradual turn from cloudy to sunny

by

1.  For Sunday a strong low pressure will be present over the mid-atlantic with periods of showers working west and southwest around it with Kentucky in the path of scattered light showers. Overcast skies will be the rule with the flow out of the north, once again this means temps in the 40’s to near 50 for highs with lows near 40.

2. For Monday and Tuesday this low slowly loses it grip which means a little more sun each day with slightly warmer temps. The region will back to mid 50’s for highs by Tuesday.

3. Wednesday and Thursday should be sunny with a high pressure system in the region lows will be  in the low 40’s with highs in the mid to upper 50’s.

4. By late week we’re on the western edge of the high which makes warm air advection time for friday and Saturday expect Mostly sunny skies again with highs in the 60’s, the gfs model is to fast with the next rain chance.

monday update: The turn from cloudy to sunny will start today still expecting the same trend more sun and warmer each day. Only change is to bring a shower and thunderstorm chance on Sat now, timing matches up for both euro and gfs on this.
