noontime update

by

I have had a few changes based on the 12z models. both the nam and gfs raised qpf over the south with the nam actually suggested a more solid band of snow for the south. I still expect the dry slot late Thursday afternoon for the south still making totals slightly less there. qpf is also slightly less for the Covington area.

timeline

– snow develops around 5am for I-65 8am I-75 and by noontime along I-23 it will rapidly accumulate throughout the day untill the dry slot moves in or it transitions to snow showers.

updated accum map

this does not include snow showers from midnight thursday night to saturday am across the region.

good map mitch i am thinking maybe a little more for N NE and E KY because of lake moisture in after low departure but from storm itself totals look perfect.
