early sunday storms otherwise and “A” weekend

by

today has featured a mix of clouds and sun so far there are some muggies and it is summer today with highs in the mid 80’s, thunderstorms should be likely tonight  and early sunday across the region with an isolated flood threat from any hvy rain producers. on sunday the clouds will break up and we Will have another nice summer afternoon and evening. isn’t it nice when the rain comes at night?

for my winter fans out there 02-03 is showing up as well in a few other forecasts and thinking for a potential winter pattern around here. this winter featured frequent smaller snows, the first ice storm and a major blizzard for the northeast.

topical storm lana is expected to pass south of hawaii according to the nhc. all is quiet in the Atlantic.

  2. mitchg Says:

once again models trending north with heaviest storms makes the issuance of a flood watch a good call for southern areas, i’m eagerly awaiting 00z runs, the 18z runs explode with thunderstorm formation around midnight for the south.

  3. mitchg Says:

tornado in allen county from the swirl/ landcane the other night.
