IN 1989. ADDITIONALLY…THE HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS ONLY 69 DEGREES
TODAY…SHATTERING THE PREVIOUS MINIMUM HIGH TEMPERATURE RECORD OF
75 DEGREES PREVIOUSLY SET IN 2001.

THE HIGH TEMPERATURE AT THE LONDON CORBIN AIRPORT WAS 72 DEGREES
TODAY. THIS BREAKS THE PREVIOUS MINIMUM HIGH TEMPERATURE RECORD OF
77 DEGREES SET BACK IN 2001.

CLIMATE RECORDS AT THE LONDON CORBIN AIRPORT DATE BACK TO 1954.

1. we’ll warm things things up a few degrees each day as the trough moves NE of us putting us back in the usual spot this summer between an intense heat ridge and a strong trough. as a result temps and humidity should come up a little each day.  the next few days will be dry allowing lexington’s rainfall totals to fall a bit below normal for the year, that may suprise you. later in the week i will specualte on a drought by summer 2010.
