tornado watch this afternoon

by

the spc has issued a tornado watch for areas west of 1-75 untill 9 pm. clusters and small lines of storms have formed near 1-65 as of 4 pm. there are a few warnings near the louisville area in southern indiana. these clusters wil cotninue to organizr and move east late this afternoon. in my view the main threat will be large hail due to the low freezing levels however the storms are orgainzing into segements to create the threat for high winds with storms and we have had a few tornado warnings north. I’ll update as the afternoon progresses.

THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A

          NORTHERN ALABAMA

FOR A COMPLETE DEPICTION OF THE WATCH SEE THE ASSOCIATED WATCH
