two sided storm train

by

1. for thursday the next low pressure will move ne into the region and bring with it more periods of rain with the focus in the east highs will make the 60’s.

2. for friday a mix of clouds and maybe sun will give way to all clouds as southerly winds pick up again by friday afternoon widespread showers and storms will move in these will last into saturday a widespread 1-2 inches may fall. with the track of the low now up the ohio river the focus for severe weather should be from the deep south into the tenn valley and the snow from northern texas to chicago  making this our first two sided storm. highs will be in the 60’s again.

spc then gfs

any change in the track could bring the risk zone north further into ky i expect a moderate and maybe even high risk are to appear in the middle of this as the atmospheric condtions are favorable for nasty tornado outbreak to our south.

3. still major disagreement on sunday as temps fall rapidly through the morning with steady temps near 40 and maybe a midnight high in the mid to upper 40’s east not 60 like forecasts our sticking with. scattered rain and snow showers will be with us as well under a nw flow.

4. quick turnaround for monday as the flow turns back to southerly and temps will rebound to 60 under fair skies.  tuesday may see a passing shower with 50’s and lighter winds

5. there will be another two sided storm for mid week and  it could actually go either way for us should a southern track be the end game this may be a winter storm threat or we could have a lakes cutter with another severe threat.
